Education Specialist (Texas School Ready)
Location: ESC Region 15 San Angelo, TX
Reports To: Associate Director, Teaching & Learning
FLSA Status: Exempt / 234 Days
Pay Grade: ESC Salary Schedule

Mission: Education Service Center Region 15 is dedicated to excellence in education through leadership, partnership, and service.
Position Purpose:
This position reports to the Associate Director and is responsible for leading and supporting the Local Education Agencies (LEAs) of Region 15 in implementing research-based best practices related to early childhood education. The role also supports a high-performance culture focused on excellence, quality, productivity, and high standards.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Partner with early childhood programs to provide professional development, coaching, child progress monitoring, curriculum, and materials.
Support teachers with implementation of instructional strategies.
Collaborate with teachers to develop lesson plans and daily schedules.
Provide eCIRCLE professional development as required for the implementation of the project.
Provide one-on-one coaching to participants to build skill, knowledge, and capacity to reflect and apply learning on a deeper level resulting in improved student learning.
Collaborate with CLI project management to ensure implementation of project components.
Facilitate communication between CLI and ESC 15.
Serve as the liaison between CLI and partnership by facilitating planning negotiations among site participants, conducting problem solving efforts, and monitoring the progress of the project.
Conduct project activities in accordance with program timelines. Facilitate classroom observations by CLI representatives.
Collect and review required project documentation including monthly reports, monthly coaching schedules, eCIRCLE schedules, CIRCLE Progress Monitoring, and submit to CLI.
Work with CLI to support the management of project expenditures.
Participate in training opportunities.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Associate Director of Teaching and Learning and/or the Executive Director.
Experience:
Three (3) years classroom teaching experience

Bachelor's Degree
