School Leadership Specialist (Teacher Incentive Allotment)



Location: San Angelo, TX
Reports To: Director of Administrative Services and Federal Programs
FLSA Status: Exempt (Full-Time)

This position reports to the Director of Administrative Services and Federal Programs and is responsible for leading and guiding the LEAs of Region 15 in research-based best practices that will implement initiatives and accelerate student growth and achievement. The School Leadership Specialist will assist LEA instructional teams build a positive climate that fosters student success; while supporting a high performance culture that emphasizes excellence, quality, productivity, and standards.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Work with Administrative Services team to provide training and technical assistance to Region 15 LEAs.
Design and facilitate trainings related to TEA initiatives, including; Teacher Incentive Allotment and related trainings.
Support districts in the development of their application for TIA local designation systems, the refinement of systems at their districts related to TIA, and the data collections and submission for TIA.
Collaborate with LEA teams and school administrators to establish and monitor high standards for excellence with students, teachers, staff, and other stakeholders.
Stay abreast of state and federal accountability information and providing training and technical assistance, as needed.
Assist Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) districts with student growth, teacher observation, data collection and analysis.
Analyze state and regional performance data to share with districts.
Assist in the collecting and reporting of data to evaluate performance progress.
Identify areas of opportunities, research and analysis, and implement positive change for LEAs served in the region and through statewide grants.
Establish and maintain lines of communication with LEAs to:
     o  ensure timely receipt of information regarding state and federal initiatives;
     o  share innovative research-based practices; and
     o  provide technical assistance in all areas of the principalship.
Serve and/or lead on Region 15 teams dedicated to collaborative efforts with other ESCs and agencies.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Administrative Services and Federal Programs and/or the Executive Director.

Experience:
Three (3) years’ experience as campus administrator
