Technical Support/Administrative Assistant
Location: Education Service Center Region 15
Reports To: Data Services Coordinator
FLSA Status: Exempt
Calendar: 12 Months / 234 days

Major Duties/Responsibilities
Serve as the primary help desk operator for the Data Services department.
Answer phones, assess caller needs, provide initial assistance, and direct inquiries to the appropriate Data Services Consultant when necessary.
Serve as primary technical support for the OmniTrack system for all ESC Region 15 staff.
Maintain communication with Education Service Center Region 1 to obtain technical support and remain informed about OmniTrack updates and implementation changes.
Perform a variety of clerical and administrative tasks including: processing payment authorizations, invoice requests, purchase orders, and staff reimbursements. scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars, distributing incoming and outgoing mail.
Compile and maintain workshop data, including processing contracts for contract consultants and Data Services personnel.
Coordinate travel arrangements, including hotel reservations, registration fees, transportation, and other related documentation.
Maintain and update the department’s asset inventory, supplies, and equipment control records.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date correspondence, including email and phone distribution lists for the Data Services team.
Enter client contact activities and updates for the Data Services Coordinator.
Maintain listservs and correspondence for various client roles and user categories, including but not limited to: TSDS Coordinator, PEIMS Facilitator, ECDS Facilitator, RFT Facilitator, SPPI 14 Facilitator, Class Roster Facilitator, Student Data Facilitator, Business Data Facilitator, Finance Facilitator, HR/Payroll Facilitator, BankRec Facilitator, AllBusiness Operators, and other client groups as identified.
Maintain an organized and efficient work area. Complete assignments independently with minimal supervision.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Data Services Coordinator, Deputy Director, or Executive Director.
Experience
Two (2) years acceptable experience
