School Leadership Specialist (Teacher Incentive Allotment)

This position reports to the Associate Director of Administrative Services, Federal Programs and Special Programs and is Responsible for leading and supporting LEAs in Region 15 by promoting research-based best practices that drive effective initiatives and accelerate student growth and achievement. The School Leadership Specialist partners with LEA instructional teams to build a positive climate that fosters student success while cultivating a high-performance culture grounded in excellence, quality, productivity, and high standards.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Collaborate with the Administrative Services team to provide training and technical assistance to Region 15 LEAs. Design and facilitate professional learning aligned to TEA initiatives, including Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA), Texas Instructional Leadership (TIL), and appraisal systems. Support districts in the development, implementation, and refinement of TIA local designation systems, including data collection and submission processes. Partner with LEA teams and school leaders to establish, monitor, and sustain high standards of excellence for students, educators, and stakeholders. Analyze state and regional performance data to inform decision-making, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous growth. Support districts in continuous improvement processes, including data analysis, needs assessment, strategic planning, and ongoing progress monitoring. Stay current on state and federal accountability systems and provide relevant training and guidance. Assist in the collection, analysis, and reporting of data to evaluate program effectiveness and student outcomes. Establish and maintain strong communication with LEAs to ensure timely dissemination of information, share research-based best practices, and provide leadership-focused technical assistance. Collaborate with regional, state, and inter-agency teams to support aligned initiatives and shared goals. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Administrative Services and Federal Programs and/or the Executive Director.

Experience:
Three (3) years’ experience as LEA Administrator

Master's Degree
Mid-Management Administrator
Valid Texas Teaching Certificate
