Education Specialist (Hourly) - CTE/EAF/TRPN
Location: ESC Region 15, San Angelo, TX

Mission: Education Service Center Region 15 is dedicated to excellence in education through leadership, partnership, and service.
Primary Purpose: This position will support the implementation of CTE programs and strategic advising practices while ensuring compliance, reporting, and coordination related to grant-funded efforts. The ideal candidate is collaborative, organized, and passionate about helping students explore and pursue meaningful college and career pathways.

Required:
Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, career and technical education, or related field.
Experience working in K-12 education, postsecondary advising, or workforce development.
Experience with CTE programs, career advising frameworks, or grant management.

Career and Technology Education (CTE) Support
- Assist in the coordination and evaluation of CTE programs aligned with state standards and labor market demands.
- Support CTE pathway development, curriculum implementation, and industry certification alignment.
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to strengthen CTE course offerings and student outcomes.
- Provide technical assistance and training related to the EAF, including advising tools, protocols, and best practices.
- Support campus-based advising teams in implementing personalized student plans, career exploration, and transition strategies.
- Monitor progress and fidelity of implementation across campuses.
- Support the execution and management of activities funded by the TRPN grant.
- Assist with data collection, reporting, and documentation to ensure grant compliance.
- Coordinate with regional partners, postsecondary institutions, and workforce stakeholders to sustain career pathway development.
- Organize and participate in meetings, workshops, and conferences related to grant activities.
